Chris is a graduate of Belmont College in Nashville, TN, with a degree in audio engineering. His first passion was playing music
which he started doing professionally at the age of 15, a journey that took him around the world, performing in 17 countries with
credits in film, television, and recording as well as touring with some famous, and some not so famous, artists. He even played in the
circus.
He feels he is the luckiest guy in the world to have found a second passion in his life. That passion is trading and teaching those
who have the same desire. Though his main focus is trading he still plays music and says, "who says you can’t have your cake and eat
it too."
He was introduced to trading by his cousin, Jeff, who taught him a detailed way of technical, rule based trading that he could use
to trade any asset class that fit his goals, in any market condition. He has been actively trading Stocks, Options, and Futures in his
personal accounts for 11 years now, using different strategies and techniques for directional trading and hedging positions in many
different time frames.
He also considers it a pleasure to have trained and mentored over 300 students ranging from a one-on-one setting to smaller groups,
and speaking to some local IBD and Vector Vest investment groups sharing his experience and knowledge with different Stock and Options
strategies to help get them to the next level.
He feels that, "most traders are not able to reach the next level without education and continued support from a group of
professional traders that care about your success, like Online Trading Academy. The ability to learn how to put it all together and
make sense of the information while building a trading plan is necessary if one is going to survive in the trading world."
Chris is dedicated to showing you how to form the right side of the chart using different technical analysis techniques, price
patterns, and a firm understanding of supply and demand levels which, in turn, will give you higher probabilities of a profitable
trade. His goal is to take you to the next level, as he puts it, "It might be that you are only hitting on four of your eight
cylinders, so while doing things right, there are other weaknesses that are preventing you from taking the next step. We will help you
isolate where your weaknesses are and give you step by step corrections to help you move forward."
